Portfolio

Forms pulled from earth, flame, and the beading aisle of my local craft store. An ever-growing collection spanning seasons, experiments, and slow refinement.

THE OFFERINGS

This is slow work. Intentional work. Hands-in-the-mud, lose-track-of-time kind of work.

I make pieces meant to be lived with — mugs that hold your morning ritual, bowls that catch salt and stories, forms that feel good in your hands before you even realize why. I’m drawn to texture, movement, and small details that reveal themselves over time. Nothing rushed. Nothing mass-produced. Just thoughtful objects shaped by steady hands and a little bit of instinct.

Art in Clay

Clay, for me, is less about pedestal pieces and more about the quiet heroes of the everyday.

I’m drawn to the objects we run ragged — the bowl that catches garlic skins, the spoon rest that lives permanently by the stove. These are the tools that hold our routines together, and they deserve more than to be overlooked.

I want your favorite cup to feel like a small ceremony, even if you’re just reheating yesterday’s coffee. Wheel-thrown, grounded, and meant to be handled often — my pieces are built to live with you, not sit quietly on a shelf.

Mobiles

Whimsical Decor

The mobiles are all paper cranes — each one hand-folded by me using traditional yuzen paper.

Suspended in gentle arrangements, they shift with air and light, creating small moments of softness in a room.

They’re meant to bring joy. A touch of childlike awe. A reminder that whimsy isn’t frivolous — it’s necessary. For spaces that feel heavy, quiet, or overly serious, the cranes offer something lighter. A small invitation to look up.

Learn Together

Teaching is an extension of my own practice. Whether you’ve never touched clay or you’re returning to the wheel after years away, my classes are designed to build skill and confidence without ego. We start with the fundamentals  and layer in technique, curiosity, and a little experimentation. It’s structured, but not stiff. Focused, but not precious. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s learning to listen to the clay, trust your hands, and maybe surprise yourself a little along the way.
