Hand-thrown with speckled clay, these bowls showcase a sandy, beachy texture beneath a blue, sea-foamy glaze and golden rims. The colors swirl like waves, a quiet nod to the mermaids who, in the original tale, became seafoam.

Every piece from Dot + Louie is thrown on my at-home potter's wheel, glazed with lead-free / food safe materials, and fired at a small local studio in West Seattle. The materials used are exclusively made from Seattle Pottery Supply's in-house clay body and glazes.
